2009 July 9
Recession Lesson #3: People will still pay to blow up stuff.
Even during an economic downturn some business continue to thrive. As I drove across country I saw one of these businesses booming from state to state. Yes, even during a recession, we’ll gladly fork over money to blow stuff up on the fourth of July. In St. Paul, Kansas I met three girls running their family fire work stand. Here’s what they had to say…
Thanks for the interview girls!
P.S. Tell the owner of the car wash there in St. Paul that his auto vacuum isn’t working and he owes me a dollar!

Dude… awesome! People definitely still pay to blow stuff up. And now I want to know what the Pearly Gates does. Or is it just named that because that’s where you go if you stand too close after lighting the fuse?
I am thinking of an adult telephonic operator. they pay 10/hr best than the wages in kentucky or the mid-worst. Beats waiting for those unemployment checks that never arrive or dealing with constantly poor mail services that lose EDD info and the like. Any else have any ideas to make ends meet during these horrible times?
I was recently laid off from my homebuilding job in Telluride Colorado. Moved back in with the old folks, and have spent the summer driving Amish guys around and working on cabins with them. Unfortunately my boss left for Wisconsin a couple weeks ago, so I am again unemployed. Now I am trying to make money through web page design, and google adsense. Just finished my first site http://www.freejobhelp.net Good luck all you unemployed maggots!
