Dear Sir/madam it’s not finger-pointing, it is USA reality–HB-1visa (foreigners) taking jobs away from americans who are equally qualified to perform such job tasks. Let them get a job in their own country. They are only here for the green card, then it’s smoooooooth sailing until they are ready for the USA citizenship test. They are here only for $$$$$, they love America for $$$$ and greed, not for what it (america) used to stand for (ethics, integrity, honor, committment, etc…) now it’s about how much you can make, steal, screw over, and use and then fire/lay off that is the new USA.

Amen Josh, you have have administrative lackies making 300-400K+/yearly as school junkies with no real world, private sector skills; the american greed and work addiction is disgusting there are no ethics, no respect.

, you have foreigners who get a taste of the money and they will work as HB-1 vista getting 6-figure salaries then once they get the green card they are golden, They should have not had these jobs to begin with as they should be given to legal americans not foreign workers on visas. They are here soley for the dinero. They could not care less about america–only dinero.

However, many companies have no ethics and think they can squeeze the lemon dry from foreigners as they are desperate (modern day slaves) to get their paperwork (HB–1 visas) signed every 90 days to remain in this country and do work (medical research) that many americans are qualified to perform however, not being a slave like many foreigners are willing to be.

@tom, the problem’s not foreigners, but companies’ total disrespect for their employees. take all the companies right now that, even though they’re very profitable, still demand concessions of their workforce. Like the Univ. of California, even, which is still giving bonuses (and salaries of more than $400k/yr.) while they furlough staff and kill educational programs.

the problem is a lack of ethics. immigrants and recipients of outsourcing are just as screwed as everyone else, if not more.

amen Jackoff. The old boomer adage of “job security” is dead. employers do NOT care anymore since most if not all employees are easily dispensible, disposable or easily replaced with foreigners. The key is to work for yourself and/or as you stated via commission since wages are completely dependent on the whim of some corporate lackie.

with unemployment still surging and many losing hope in obtaining viable, real employment, it is a very sad state of affairs in america. many corporations are robbing peter to pay paul, playing the musical chairs with debt, etc…. this is a very serious and dire situation and the federal government has done very little to help the common person with real solutions and real help. They seem to be johnny on the spot with regard to foreign countries and illegals and the taxpayer is left out cold. Welcome to the 2nd depression, if you think 2009 is bad, just wait till 2010 and 2011.
