Desperate times make for creative solutions: loving this woman’s unemploymentality.
Why send your resume out into the internet abyss when you can wear it on your chest? Kelly Kinney may be onto something. And to maximize her T-shirt real estate, she printed her cover letter on the back. The 29-year-old marketing professional has been without a full time job for the past year. Despite applying for 40 jobs a day, she’s had no luck, as employers tell her she is just one of 500 applicants. Yikes.
Kelly, we admire your creativity. This morning I was reading about how the Great Depression spawned a wave of creativity in film and literature, birthing such gems as the melodrama and detective novels (and it’s thanks to the melodrama that we now have such fantastic daytime TV, a cornerstone of entertainment for the unemployed!). Pop culture aside, I wonder what other creative job-hunting strategies are emerging as a result of the current crisis? If you have one, please share in the comments section!

1.every time you go out to have coffee , leave ur CV on the tissue paper
2.every time you travel, carry a handbag with “unemployed” written on its cover !!
3.make a fictitious visiting card , with your photo and contact and under the designation section write “unemployed… in search of a job” and try and exchange visiting cards whenever u meet anyone.
4. and ultimately if none of that works , create another “UNEMPLOYMENTALITY BLOG” !!!!!
he he he …..
good luck with your job search…
PS: by the way, i too am unemployed !!
